On request, here's how to make a fennel infusion:
Pour 1 cup of boiling water onto 1 tablespoon fresh fennel leaves and let it infuse for 10 minutes.
Or pour a cup of boiling water onto 1-2 teaspoonfuls of slightly crushed fennel seeds and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. This is the better preparation of the two.
Adults will take either of the above three times a day. Children, elderly and the frail will use from 1/8 to 1/2 of the above.
